Malcolm Gladwell: The Tipping Point

How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference

Malcolm Gladwell approaches the question of the tipping point from different perspectives. He identifies three rules of the Tipping Point: The Law of the Few, the Stickiness Factor and the Power of Context. Each of these Laws is explained more thoroughly throughout the book. You learn why some ideas spread like wildfire and others don’t.

I love his way of taking you along on his journey, exploring different aspects of the topic with the help of astonishing, interesting and sometimes a little awkward but impressive examples. His examples go from epidemics which may or may not be quite as contagious as some idea, a certain product or let’s say the crime rate in New York City.
